Large portions of the park were closed because of COVID-19, and smoke from the fires along the Pacific Coast hid all but the very close mountains and hills.
In spite of those drawbacks, it was a fun visit. (We wore masks whenever we were in close proximity to other visitors.)
We saw this mother deer and her two fawns outside our air BnB multiple times each day. On the last day we saw a deer with antlers. |
We spent both days on the Going-to-the-Sun Road. The first day we hiked to St. Mary's Waterfall.

Later on Thursday we walked along the Trail of the Cedars Nature Trail near Avalanche Creek.
On Friday Afternoon we visited Hungry Horse Dam.

Even though the air was smoky, impairing our vision and hurting our eyes, we had a fun outing.
